Colin Firth, the complete name is Colin Andrew Firth, born on 10th September 1960. He was born to David and Shirley Firth. David Firth was a history lecturer whereas Shirley Firth was a comparative religion lecturer. Colin Firth has two siblings, a sister Kate and a brother Jonathan.
Colin Firth spend his childhood traveling from one country to another wherever his father's teaching job took him. Colin Firth graduated from the Barton Peveril College in Hampshire. His acting career started in 1980 in a London play 'Another Country'.

Colin Firth was romantically involved with the co-star Meg Tilly, in the movie Valmont, in the year 1989. The actress gave birth to their first son Will Firth in the year 1990. In the year 1994 Colin Firth was involved with his Pride and Prejudice co-star Jennifer Ehle. Currently, he is married to an Italian documentary filmmaker Livia Giugiolli, since 1997. He also has two sons by the name of Luca and Matteo from this marriage.
