Biography
Claire Goose is a British actress and television personality. She is most known for her starring roles in the BBC dramas Casualty, the longest-running medical emergency drama in the world, of which Claire Goose is part from 1997 to 2000, and Waking the Dead, a forensic drama telecast from 2000 to 2007. Claire Goose, however, left Waking the Dead in 2004.

In Casualty, Claire Goose played Tina Seabrook, a staff nurse of the series' fictional Holby City Hospital. In Waking the Dead, she was Detective Sergeant Amelia "Mel" Silver; the character met a grisly death in the series to mark Claire Goose's departure from the program.

Claire Goose was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on February 10, 1975, although she grew up in Norfolk. Her father, David Goose, is a GP in Kings Lynn. On 1991, at the age of 16, Claire Goose entered the prestigious Italia Conti Academy, the United Kingdom's oldest theater arts training school. The Academy lists Naomi Campbell, Sadie Frost, Sharon Osbourne, Patsy Kensit, Lisa Snowdon and Tracy Ullman among its notable alumni. While waiting for her big break, Claire Goose supported herself by working as a silver service waitress, a story-telling raccoon at a theme park, and by doing administrative work.

Claire Goose was the girl who was featured in the Wash 'N' Go commercial, the backpacker who washed her hair in a fountain. Her first film debut was in Alone, a horror film released in 2001. There she played one of the victims of a serial killer who was trying to chase away his nightmares.

In 1998, Claire Goose was voted among the 100 Sexiest Women of the World by the readers of the ladmag FHM. She entered the poll at Number 94 in 1998, then rose to 38 in 1999, then to 29 in 2000.
