Cindy Pielstroom is a model and a TV personality, a celebrity hailing from The Netherlands. Born Cindy Paulina Pielstroom in Amsterdam on August 3, 1970, she took computer courses and acting workshops in college, all the while supporting herself with odd jobs. At the age of 21, she moved to Barcelona to become a fashion model.

In Barcelona, Cindy Pielstroom became an instant hit and started doing regular stints on the catwalks in Spain, Greece, Italy and Germany. She also appeared in various commercials and her face graced many advertising campaigns in Europe.

True fame came to Cindy Pielstroom when she returned to The Netherlands. On 1996, she became one of the hosts of The Netherlands' syndication of Wheel of Fortune, taking on her own version of Vanna White. Her work in that program made Cindy Pielstroom a household name in The Netherlands.

After her stint at the Dutch version of Wheel of Fortune, Cindy Pielstroom went on to host many other programs for Veronica Call TV and Yorin. Among her TV shows are The Digital Revolution, VIPS, City Report, Yorkiddin and Gameforce One. She worked on most of these programs not just as host but as writer and editor. When Yorin canceled Yorkiddin, she left the station entirely.

Following her departure from Yorin, Cindy Pielstroom formed a public relations consultancy and marketing corporation, which she named Connecting People. The company specializes in creating campaigns for events and festivals in The Netherlands.

Cindy Pielstroom formed Globalogical Foundation in 2003, a non-profit organization that contributes to various charities and addresses different world issues. Through Globalogical Foundation, Cindy Pielstroom entered a partnership with MTV Netherlands to launch Globalicious, a campaign to bring awareness to the youth of The Netherlands on various global concerns.

Another thing known about Cindy Pielstroom is that she likes to dye her hair with radical colors, not just regular blonde or brunette, but hot pink with mixes of lavender, among others.
