Christopher Maurice Brown (born May 5, 1989), better known as Chris Brown, is an American pop and R&B singer, dancer, and actor who released his Billboard Hot 100 number-one debut single "Run It!" in 2005, which was produced by Scott Storch and featured Juelz Santana. His self-titled debut album spawned four successful top ten and top twenty hits in the United States. To date, the album has sold three million copies worldwide and 1,920,665 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
