Cheryl Rae Tiegs is an American supermodel. A tall, blue eyed blonde of five eleven, her career as a model is spectacular with success. From the age of seventeen she has been a much sought after model for fashion magazines such as Elle and Vogue. She made her debut as a fashion model when she was just seventeen and it was in a Glamour magazine. There is no looking back in her career which kick-started those many years ago.

Sports Illustrated is the magazine which sported her for a long time as a bikini model. The pink bikini in which she posed in 1978 was an exclusive feature as an image for pop culture. She created quite a buzz with an almost nude pose in a bikini.

In the 1966 issue of Teen she made her first professional appearance. In 1981's TV classic 'The Fall Guy', she was mentioned in the theme song. Many TV serials like Good Morning America, The American sportsman and Saturday Night Live made her popular. A beeline of TV shows made her a very popular actress and she was in the peak of her career around 70s and 80s with her superb performance.

Even in her late fifties now, her ads with Revlon, 'Cheryl Tiegs by Revlon wigs' have turned heads and have brought her admiration. Yesteryears saw her in ads for Black Velvet Canadian whisky as the Black Velvet girl. And a skin conditioner ad sees her as an ageless woman.

Born in Minnesota, on 25 September 1947, her career as an actress and a model is bright with continuous success. Her personal life saw ups and downs with four marriages. She is blessed with lovely sons from the marriages. She proved herself in her field as a bold woman who faced life with enthusiasm and vigour. She continues to exhibit the same traits even today.
