Biography
Welsh actress Charlie Brooks has immensely contributed to the entertainment sector. She was born in Barmouth in Wales on May 3rd, 1981. She formally trained in the prestigious Arts Education School and grew into being a wonderful actress. A very determined soul, she traveled alone from Wales to London to pursue her acting dream. On television she was featured in London's Burning, The Demon Headmaster, The Bill, Jonathan Creek and others. In EastEnders she played the role of Janine Evans and fit the profile perfectly. The series continued for over five years.

In 2003, Charlie Brooks was featured in a production by Bill Kenwright called Office Games. Here she acted against Mel Raido and Adam Rickitt. After she left EastEnders, she took on a drama by ITVI called The Gloden Hour. Charlie can also be seen in Take 3 Grils and Casualty which was a medical drama brought out by BBC. She was also the voice over of Mary Dixon for Dixon of Dock Green.

2005 December saw Charlie release a DVD on fitness. This was a big hit. It was called Charlie Brooks - Before and After Workout. It went on to become the largest ever selling fitness DVD in the US. Now that's an accomplishment! Coming to 2006 she took on the role of Beverley Allitt and was recognized for her expert performance in Beverley Allitt: Angel of Death.

Charlie married Tony Truman who was a party coordinator but they split up in 2006. They have a daughter named Kiki. They now reside in Thames Ditton. Apart from speaking Welsh, she can speak in many different accents such as the Liverpool accent, Cardiff accent and the Manchester accent. It is said that Charlie does not enjoy flying but still loves holidaying in all the great destinations. She is truly an enigmatic personality.
