Charles Aznavour is a native of Paris (France). He was born on May 22, 1924. He comes form different blood lines as he has a Georgian Father (Micha Aznovourian) and Armenian Mother (Anar). Both his parents are American immigrants. His mother came from a family of traders who were based in Turkey while his father is a skillful tenor. Charles was born in Paris while his parents were waiting for the approval of their American visa. Before Charles pursued his singing career, he and his elder sister were brought up in a place where talented musicians and actors from various local theatres used to stay.
When Charles started his singing career, he used to perform every night in front of Central European audience along with his wife, Anar, who attended to their guests. Prior to singing, Charles' enormous passion was to become an actor. This is the reason why he got himself enrolled in various drama classes.
