Charisma Lee Carpenter is an American actress born on July 23, 1970 at Las Vegas, Nevada. She is widely known for the role of Cordelia Chase, in the TV series of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". She attended Bishop Gorman High School, located also in her homeland. But at the age of 15, her family relocated to Rosario B.C. in Mexico and after that to Chula Vista, San Diego. After her graduation in San Diego in year 1991, she went joined cheering squad before pursuing a Hollywood career. She is also fond of sky diving. Even as she a child, Charisma was always interested in the art of acting and classical ballet.
Charisma was scouted by a commercial agent during one of her part time jobs as a waitress in Mirabelle Restaurant. From here on she was featured in several roles in television advertisements. She also appeared in "Baywatch", "Angel", "Charmed", "Veronica Mars", and "Miss Match" as a guest actress. Although, Charisma showed interest in the acting field, she didn't grow up being an aspiring actress. Her initial plan was to save money for her college and become an English teacher.
On October 5, 2002, Charisma got married to Damian Hardy, and later on gave birth to a son named Donavan Charles Hardy in March 24, 2003. In the year 2004, Charisma posed nude for Playboy magazine's June 2004 edition.
Some trivia about Charisma includes the fact that she has a large scar on her belly, which is the result of an accident when she was a child. She also has four tattoos on her body - a tribal sun on her lower back, a rosary on her left wrist, D2 symbol on the inside of her right wrist and the infinity symbol on her left ring finger beneath her wedding ring. She is also a good friend of See Jane Date and Holly Marie Combs.
