Biography
Céline Marie Claudette Dion, was born on March 30, 1968. Born in a large but financially impoverished family Charlemagne, Quebec, all young Celiene had was her golden voice.

She had always dreamt of becoming a singing star, and this burning desire in her was recognized by her manager and would be husband, Ren Angélil. He mortgaged his own house to finance her first music record which became an instant hit. Her voice became famous outside her native Canada and her popularity grew in Europe and Asia after she bagged the 1982 Yamaha World Popular Song Festival award and then went on to win the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest. In 1990 her hit music album Unison was released, and this helped her capture the Anglophone music market. Her educated vocal chords had enraptured millions of music lovers but the best was yet to come. Things really started moving in the 1990s and she gave hits after hits of which two of her most successful songs were Falling into You (1996) and who can forget the melody that captured an entire nation in a single moment.
