A phenomenon named Carl Sagan is living among us. His contribution in Astronomy has resulted in solving puzzles like why Venus is very hot. He came up with the answer that the massive greenhouse effect is the reason for the high temperature in Venus. The seasonal changes in Venus are attributed to the windblown dust in the surface of Venus. According to him, the reddish haze of the moon of Saturn, the Titan, is due to complex organic molecules.

He has been with NASA since 1950s. Being an advisor and consultant for NASA for so long, he was involved in several of the Apollo missions. Whether it was Mariner, Viking, Voyager or Galileo, Carl Sagan was associated with them all. He has been awarded Exceptional Scientific Achievement medals from NASA. He has been widely recognized for his skill and expertise in this field.

He established the Carl Sagan Foundation with a view to educate the public with relation to scientific awareness. A non profit organization, the Foundation aims to improve the human race by harnessing advanced technological breakthroughs. The Carl Sagan Discovery Centre at New York aims at achieving great things for our next generation.
