Biography
Bryan Datillo has become popular because of his portrayal as Lucas Roberts, the young rich kid in the very well loved NBC drama series "Days Of Our Lives." Adding to that, he was also included in Cosmopolitan's 100 Most Eligible Bachelors.

Born in Kankakee, Illinois, a student of the Beverly Hills High School and Santa Monica College, where he was taking Psychology course , Datillo, has always been a fan of the series Days Of Our Lives. In fact, he has been following the series long before he came to join the cast.

His rise to stardom was not as "cinematic" compared to most actors in Hollywood. Unlike the many sad, melo-dramatic stories of young, ambitious people who would readily die just to land a spot in Hollywood, Datillo did not have that kind of a story to share. His idea of becoming an actor was just a matter of being "in" in the school where he was studying. During the time that he initially set foot on the playground of Beverly Hills High School, he was asked as to who is agent was. His mother, Peggy, a news reporter on "The Enquirer" and later established her own television and film company The Harbour Lights Entertainment, had to explain to Bryan the reason why he was being asked as to who his agent was. Upon learning about this, he and his sister, Kristin, felt that to be one these kids, they, too, need to have an agent.

He was able to find a Hollywood agent and was a talent of The Savage Agency. Shortly after signing with them, Bryan landed recurring role on "Not Necessarily The News". Very soon after, commercials and other TV spots came in and Bryan was well on his way to becoming an actor.

Bryan's career was highlighted when his performance was recognized in the Soap Opera Award giving him a nomination in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category in the year 1999. And in 2004 and 2005, he received the Daytime Emmys Pre-Nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor.
