Brigitte Nielsen was born on the 15th of July 1963 in Helsingor, Denmark. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school and got permission from her parents to pursue modeling in Paris. So on 1979, she went to Italy and France. It was not until 1984 that Dino de Laurentiis, an Italian producer contacted Brigitte to film Red Sonja in 1985 together with leading man, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
It was in 1985 of December that she wedded Arnold Schwarzenegger. Red Sonja was her debut, followed by Rocky IV in 1985, Cobra in 1986. She also shot Beverly Hills Cop II in 1987 alongside with Chris Rock, Paul Reiser and Eddie Murphy. Unfortunately, the relationship did not last and on 1987, they divorced. She also entered the music industry when she recorded Everybody Tells A Story and Body Next to Body.
She also had other movies in the 90's, which include The Astral Factor in 1991, Galaxis in 1995, Compelling Evidence in the same year, She's Too Tall in 1998 and Doomsdayer in 1999. She also continued with recording and had a duet with Rupaul in You're no Lady in 2002.
Brigitte Nielsen is currently working in European TV and hosts a Danish TV show. She actually can speak a total of 4 languages - Italian, English, German and Danish.
