Brian Thomas Littrell, commonly being called B-Rok (by friends and relatives) was born on the 20th of February 1975 at Lexington, Kentucky. He is one of the members of the boy band, Backstreet Boys.
Brian Littrell's singing career started, as he was still a child in their church. His cousin then, Kevin Richardson moved to Florida to get a job. He landed as one of the members of the Backstreet Boys. Kevin then recommended Brian to the management. When Brian was convinced to try the audition, he was chosen as the fifth member of the Backstreet Boys.
The popularity of the Backstreet Boys started in 1995. In 1998, while the band is gaining fame from around the world, Brian had a serious problem. His heart is dangerously growing and needed to be operated. In September 1998, Brian had an open-heart surgery. He needed to stop temporarily with having shows.
As the Backstreet Boys are taping the video for As Long As You Loved Me, Brian eyed the model-actress Leighanne Wallace. And on 1999, they became engaged and had their wedding on September 2, 2000. And not too soon, they had their kid, Baylee Thomas Wylee.
After their sought success in the 90's the Backstreet Boys mellowed a little with projects. Brian on the other hand, became busy with other activities especially with charity works. He played in charity baseball games as well as yearly NBA tours. He is also busy with supporting his own charity, the Brian Littrell Healthy Heart Club for the kids.
In 2005, Brian earned the number 1 slot for Christian Charts for his singel, In Christ Alone. He was also got the 2006 GMA Music Awards for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year. His first solo Album, which is Welcome Home, has topped the Christian Charts at number 3 and the Billboards at number 74 since its release on May 2, 2006.
