Bonnie Pink was born on the 16th of April in Kyoto, Japan. This Japanese singer's full name is Koari Asada. She really loved music and was even caught playing on gigs by a scout of Pony Canyon. This is the same company that gave her a break in the music industry
Koari Asada's first debut single titled "Orange" was released in 1995. Then on the same year, she had her first album "Blue Jam" released. Her music style is a mixture of pop, blues, rock and jazz.
Bonnie was a very promising artist and can even sing both in Japanese and English. In 1996, a Swedish producer named Tore Johansson have helped her in releasing the two albums: "Heaven's Kitchen" in 1996 and "Evil and Flowers" in 1998. With these albums, Bonnie was recognized in the public.

When Bonnie moved in New York City, she met a producer Mitchell Froom whom she worked with the album "Let Go." Since she was very impressive, Mitchell even credited her as being the co-producer of the album.

Some of her songs were used in anime and movie such as "Cotton Candy" in "Guyver:Bioboosted Armor 2005," "Love Bubble" in "Memories of Matsuko,"It's gonna rain" in "Samurai X," and "Last Kiss" in "Gantz."
After year 2000, her popularity is slowly fading out. Until she released the single "A Perfect Sky" which became a hit and even topped the charts. Bonnie is a known writer-songwriter who puts her frustrations and emotions into writing. She can play piano and guitar.
