Biography
Blink-182 is an all male band composed of Tom DeLonge as the singer and guitarist; Mark Hoppus in bass and Scott Raynor in drums. In 1992, Tom and Mark first met up in San Diego and they originally call themselves as "Blink" (without the three digit number). Then Scott joined their company and from then on they started to schedule gigs, which mark the start of their music career.

In 1993, the released their debut album entitled "Fly Swatter," followed by Buddha which was released a year after. At that time, they also signed contract with Grilled Cheese/Cargo and released their full-length album called "Cheshire Cat". However, because of some legal complains from n Irish band who have been using the name Blink, the trio were forced to changed their name in to Blink-182. Their popularity continued to grow even if they have changed their name. One thing that helped them developed their reputation is when they strip off during live concerts or shows. Then in 1998, Raynor (who had drinking problems) was replaced by a formerly Aquabats' member Travis Baker.

Blink-182 rock the music industry by gaining Platinum awards from their several albums such as the "Dude Ranch" which was released in 1997; "Enama of the State" in 1999; "Take off your Pants and Jacket" in 2001 and; their self titled album "Blink-182" in 2003. They were known for having simple yet catchy music and spiced up with toilet humor.

The Blink-182 music career fully blossomed in 2005 but on the same year they have decided and announced to be in an indefinite hiatus so they can focus on their family. With that, their fans have helped then in track selection for their album, which was later on called "Greatest Hits." Each member of this trio band continues with his own projects and lifestyle. Travis played with Transplant and managed his clothing business. Mark became a music producer and entered podcasting industry. While Tom run his clothing company and his new band called "Angels and Airwaves."
