Biography
He was a prominent Evangelical Christian and considered to be the 7th among the Gallup's admired people of the 20th century. Billy Graham was born on November 7, 1918 in Charlotte North Carolina USA. He was raised in a Presbytarian parents Frank Graham and Morrow Coffey Graham. In 1934, a Christian revival meeting was held and the family switched from Presbytarian to Southern Baptist denomination. Graham was then became a minister in 1939 at age 21.

Graham avoided being educated in a sectarian institutions thus moving from schools to schools. In 1936, he moved to Florida Bible Institute and graduated in 1943 in the Wheaton College. Graham's conviction about his faith made him pursue his Christian ministry career taking the Bible as the Word of God. He soon became instrumental in settling the issue about the Bible and a memorial in Southern California in the Big Bear Area marked this triumphant act.

Graham later married Ruth Bell in 1943. They have three loving daughters and two sons. One of their daughters Anne Graham Lotz runs the Angel Ministries and one of their sons Franklin Graham is the acting administrator in their organization.

During his early ministries, Graham served as pastor of the Village Church in Western Springs, Illinois. His ministry was at the near of being cancelled due to lack of funding. Hence, on January 1944, he recruited George Beverly Shea to conduct a radio ministry and this act continued until 1945.

In 1949, while recuperating from a server mumps case in Florida, Graham administered the Youth for Christ with an evangelist Charles Templeton. With this newfound youth group, Graham made multiple mission sessions in 1949 particularly in Los Angeles California. Following these missions, he led a crusade in 1959 and preached the gospel for over the next 15 years resulting to many churches and Bible study groups.

Graham's last speech was before the over 210 million people on July 9, 2006. The then elder Graham spoke of Christianit as a whole and was televised globally reaching hundreds of million of people.
