Biography
"The Jewish Wrestler," as he was known, William Scott "Bill" Goldberg is a household name for wrestling enthusiasts all over the world. The 6 feet 4 inches wrestling pro become an overnight star when he defeated Hulk Hogan on July 6, 1998 making him the biggest name in the wrestling arena.

Goldberg was born on December 27, 1966 to a classical musician Ethel and Harvard-educated doctor Jed (deceased in 2006). As a young boy, loves football so much. He spent two years playing football with the Atlanta Falcons, Goldberg was forced to leave the team after the 1994 against the Philadelphia Eagles. As the last man in the defensive lineman, Goldberg's unexpected injury came when he was chased and pinned down during the play. Goldberg was out of the succeeding games due to unexpected and torn abdominal muscle.

Still unemployed, Goldberg's newfound friend Dallas Page motivated him to try wrestling. He was trained in the WCW Power Plant and was convinced to play in the televised arena. His first televised wrestling marked his first victory over Hugh Morrus on September 22, 1997. He afterwards won 173 victories in the wrestling world.

A Jewish believer, Goldberg's professional wrestling career was highly publicized. He also began his acting career at the same time since 1999 while with the World Championship Wrestling (WCW). His acting career was elevated when he was temporary off the wrestling arena due to his arms injury after punching a limo windshield. It took around 190 stitches to fix the seriously damaged arms.

Bill Goldberg wrote about a book entitled "I'm Next: The Strange Journey of America's Most Unlikely Superhero." Goldberg's book discusses his life as a football and a wrestling player and his opinion on various matters including his Jewish beliefs and advocacy towards animal welfare. Goldberg is a father of a son named Gage A.J Goldberg with wife Wanda Ferraton.
