Biography
Beverley Mitchell is a country music singer and actress. She is most famous for her role on the highly popular ongoing WB produced drama series "7th Heaven", where she plays the character of Lucy Camden Kinkirk.
Beverley Mitchell was born in Arcadia, California on January 22nd, 1981. She was discovered by a talent agent as a child when she threw a temper tantrum while shopping with her mother. Soon after she found modeling work and started appearing on television shows. During the early nineties her TV appearances included "Big Brother Jake", "Children of the Bride", "Sinatra", "Phenom", "White Dwarf", "Baywatch", "Melrose Place" and "Quantum Leap". Her first major film appearance was in 1996 where she played the part of Grace in "The Crow: City of Angels".
That same year, Beverly Mitchell was cast into the then-new WB series "7th Heaven" - a drama / comedy series about a large Protestant family living in a small American town. The show went on to become one of the WB's biggest successes. Beverly Mitchell is one of only two stars (along with Stephen Collins), to appear in every episode of "7th Heaven". This means that she has appeared in over two hundred episodes.
Beverly Mitchell has also made occasional appearances in various TV shows and movies during her time working on "7th Heaven". Most notably, she played a part in the popular 2005 sequel to the horror film "Saw". She continues to appear in various film roles as her part of "7th Heaven" continues. Although her character on the show has grown up, she has married on the show and remains involved in the family storylines.
In early 2007, Beverly Mitchell released a country music album called "Beverly Mitchell". She co-wrote seven of the songs on the record. Her single "Angel" was used on an episode of "7th Heaven" in late December.
