Audrey Marnay is a French supermodel. After about a decade of hard work in the fashion shoot industry, she has recently turned her career towards acting, with roles in a number of small but well reviewed films.
Audrey Marnay was born in Chartres, France on October 14, 1980. She first decided she was interested in becoming a model at age fourteen. While her parents were against the idea of their daughter becoming a fashion model, they let her apply for a job at a fashion agency because they thought there was no chance it would happen. To their surprise, Audrey Marnay quickly became a success and turned into a very hard working fashion model. While her parents were still unhappy with the idea of Audrey becoming a model and leaving school, the great pace at which Audrey Marnay worked allowed her to make a great deal of money and after over a decade of hard work the resources she has amassed have left her with no lack of options. During just one season in the late nineties, she appeared in sixty shows in under a month.
For roughly a decade she worked at this fast pace, appearing in a wide range of advertisements for the major fashion labels, and on magazine covers like Elle and Vogue. In the 1998 VH1 Fashion Awards she was nominated for Female Model of the Year. Her employers have included Versace, Chanel, Calvin Klein, and Dolce & Gabbana.
In 2006, after two years of studying acting in Paris she decided to make pursuing a professional acting career her new focus. Her first role was in the 2006 film "Bunker Paradise" as Laetitia. She has also appeared in the film "Mon meilleur ami" ("My Best Friend) and will be appearing later in 2007 in the movie "Paris".
