Anne Heche Gossip

Anne Heche was born in Ohio to a father who was a Baptist minister. She wrote a memoir entitled Call Me Crazy in which she claim that her father molested her as a child. She contended that her father gave her herpes. In fact, her father did disclose that he was a homosexual before he died in 1983, leaving others to dispute Heche's allegations about molestation. Her father died of AIDS.

Also in 1983, Heche's brother Nate, who was an actor, died in a car accident.

Heche nearly started her professional career on As the World Turns when she was offered a contract on that show when she was 16. She and her mother felt that it was best she finish high school before embarking on an acting career.

She did end up starring on Another World directly after high school and won a Daytime Emmy Award for her work.

In time, Heche starred in a number of major motion pictures, including Donnie Brasco, Volcano, Wag the Dog, Six Days Seven Nights, and Psycho.

She has also appeared on Broadway, being nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in the 2004 revival of Twentieth Century. She also appeared in the play Proof.

Currently, Heche is a cast member of the ABC television program Men in Trees.

Despite her significant roles, Heche remains best known for her high profile lesbian relationship with Ellen DeGeneres. The pair were a couple for some time. Heche is said to have abruptly ended that relationship. Within a day of leaving DeGeneres, Heche was found on the front porch of a stranger's home in Connecticut rambling incoherently. She later married a crew member from a film -- a male. Her bizarre behavior does not seem to have significantly impacted her career over the long run.

Anne and her husband are currently engaged in a bitter divorce. Anne left her husband for her Men In Trees co-star and now she and her husband are throwing barbs at oneanother through the media. We hope that these two can somehow work itout for the sake of their son.
