Anna Falchi was born on April 22, 1972 in Finland as Anna Kristiina Palom䫩. Her father is Italian and she spent much of her life in Italy where her mother raised her. There, she is more known for her modeling than her acting, but nonetheless she has plenty of films to her credit. She chose the name Anna Falchi as a stage name-her Finnish name was considered too difficult to pronounce, so she went with something more Italian.

Although Anna Falchi's career was originally in modeling, one of her television commercials was directed by Federico Fellini and also starred Paolo Villaggio. This led to her getting a part in the 1993 film Nel continente nero, or On the Dark Continent. Since then she has appeared or starred in numerous films, from comedies to horror and back again. Because of her vivaciousness and strong character, she is also a popular television hostess and participant.

Although Falchi is primarily known for being a model in Italy, she has achieved international acclaim for her movies and television appearances. One of these movies was Cemetery Man, a 1994 production called Dellamorte Dellamore in Italy, considered a comedy/fantasy/horror/romance by imdb.com. Of her other appearances, the genre varies widely-she is able to portray many different persona in many different settings, from action and adventure films to romance and comedy. The variety in her roles shows her considerable talent in acting.

In all, Anna Falchi has 18 appearances on film and television over a twelve-year period, and also has six other appearances in documentaries and similar productions.
