Biography
Best known as Sergeant Pepper Anderson in the Policewoman Series, Angie Dickenson has many other credits to her name, including films with the likes of John Wayne and Lee Marvin. One of her claims to fame is her appearance in both the 1960 and 2000 productions of Ocean's Eleven, first with Frank Sinatra then George Clooney, the second appearance being a cameo of her first.

She was born Angeline Brown on September 30, 1931, in Kulm, North Dakota. Her first job was selling Hershey Kisses for a nickel each so her brothers and sisters could buy ice cream cones. The family moved to California in 1942, and she attended Bellamarine Jefferson High School, where she was a good student and popular. She held odd jobs, earned a business degree, all with the intention of becoming a writer, never an actress.

This changed after her marriage to a football star Gene Dickinson. She took the name Angie Dickenson, and began to chase roles. Eventually NBC asked to guest-star on some variety shows, one of which was the Colgate Comedy Hour. Afterward, her career took off and she got roles in many films and television shows, with her acting debut on Death Valley Days in 1954. She starred in many westerns after that role, and moved on to other series like The Fugitive, Dr. Kildare, and many more.

As Angie Dickenson aged, she stayed active as an actress even though she didn't get the roles she used to. She played mother roles as well as parts as a wife, and her most recent part was an episode of "Judging Amy," in 2004. All told, Angie Dickinsons has a whopping 138 different shows to her credit (some multiple episodes), and 69 appearances as herself on game shows, talk shows, awards, etc.
