Amber Valletta was born on February 9, 1974, in Phoenix Arizona. At a young age her family moved to Tulsa Oklahoma where she grew up. At age 15, Amber's mother enrolled her in a modeling school and that was the beginning of her career. Shortly after that she was asked to be in the Italian Vogue magazine. Following this she was in Elle magazine and then finally moved to Paris fulltime.

Valletta is 5'8" tall and measures 34B-23-35. Her photogenic appeal has been sought by countless photographers around the world and has given her plenty of work. She has modeled fashions for the top designers such as Calvin Klein, Versace, Prada, Chanel, and Gucci. Additionally, she was chosen as the co-host of MTV's fashion show "House of Style."

Her career also includes film where she acted in What Lies Beneath, with Harrison Ford; Hitch, with Will Smith; and Raising Helen, with Kate Hudson. Countless magazines have also featured this star on the cover as well. Valletta also was in an independent film entitled Drop Back Ten.

When Valletta was a child she wanted to be a sociologist but even though she did not reach that goal she has been able to use her celebrity status to support many charity events. One of the charities is in her own hometown where she has created a charity called Supermodels Stepping Out Against Hunger, a fashion show that took place in her hometown to benefit the Tulsa Community Food Bank.

Amber dated Leonardo DiCaprio for a time but their relationship didn't last. Shortly after that she married Herve' Le Bihan, whom she met on a Calvin Klein photo shoot but two years later the couple ended in divorce. Finally, she met renowned Olympic volleyball player Christian McCaw and had a child in 2000.
