Biography
No one can resist the charm of a neurotic yet comedic man who switches back and forth from lonely, depressed to crackling, and enigmatic on cue. They're the best kind of party friends. Adam Goldberg is not only famous for his ability to play characters of every mentality and personality on television, but he is also a talented screen actor that has the ability to bring every film in which he appears to life.

Born Adam Charles Goldberg on the 25th of October 1970, Adam was adept at changing his moods on cue from a very young age. Although he acted here and there throughout his life, Adam is most well known for his roles that came after his big break into feature films in 1991, with a role opposite Billy Crystal in Mr. Saturday Night.

From there, Adam appeared in a throng of films including Dazed and Confused (1993), John Singleton's Higher Learning (1995), The Prophecy (1995), Saving Private Ryan (1998-which won numerous Oscars and for which Adam received critical acclaim for his role opposite Tom Hanks and Matt Damon), 'Babe: Pig in the City' (1998), 'EdTV' (1999), 'Sunset Strip' (2000), 'Walking Life' (2001), 'A Beautiful Mind' (2001, opposite Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly), According to 'Spencer' (2001), 'The Salton Sea' (2002 opposite Val Kilmer), 'The Hebrew Hammer' (2003) and 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' (2003 opposite Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson).

Aside from being a talented film actor, Adam is also adept and writing and directing, having worked on films such as 'I Love Your Work' (2003), 'Scotch and Milk' (1998-an independent film that is widely unavailable although it has received excellent reviews) and the documentary "Running with the Bulls."

In addition to the big screen, Adam can be seen popping up all over television like Pop Tarts across America on the first day of school. He has appeared in television shows and films alike, including Frankenstein, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, The Practice, Will and Grace, The Outer Limits, ER, NYPD Blue and a recurring role on the still-syndicated for re-runs on six networks although no longer in production, Friends.

Currently, Adam can be seen in two 2007 films, 'Two Days' and 'Zodiac', still portraying his ever-crazy and neurotic self. He is also considering a sequel to The Hebrew Hammer, although it has not been decided whether this will happen or not.

Adam has been dating actress Christina Ricci off and on for years, their most recent breakup in 2006, although they are now back together and happier than ever.

So whether, you next see him on film portraying a crazed serial killer or happy go-lucky farm boy, or on television portraying the slightly "off" friend with a secret, Adam's ability to change moods on camera faster than a shape shifter and a speeding bullet have made him an actor worthy of praise, which is why he is highly regarded in Hollywood as one of the craziest actors (and people) alive.
