Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston passed away on Sunday, July 26. The tragic passing of the young celeb came almost six full months after she was found unconscious in her bathtub by her longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon, in circumstances similar to her mother’s death. She died surrounded by family and friends.

Bobbi Kristina was placed in hospice care on June 24st, after being treated in a medically induced coma for months. Through all that time, the young celebrity was supported by her family, friends, and fans. Sadly, no medical treatment was enough to save the young woman’s life.

The Houston family issued a statement announcing the tragic passing of Bobby Brown’s beloved daughter, which read: “Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

Brown’s death is being treated as a criminal investigation due to unexplained markings on the celeb’s body and reports of the couple fighting. Gordon was questioned in regard to the circumstances in which Bobbi Kristina was found. Since the tragic occurrence, he had been in and out of rehab. Gordon was formally adopted by Houston when he was a teen, which was only one of the reasons why Kristina’s family and the mass audiences saw the relationship as controversial.

The relationship was also the main cause of Bobbi’s estranged relation with her father. The young celeb referred to her relationship with Gordon as a marriage on numerous occasions. He was not allowed to visit her in the hospital, due to Bobbi’s family’s wishes.

The young Bobbi Kristina was the only child of the legendary Houston and her fellow performing husband. The troublemaking couple had an incredibly tumultuous 14-year marriage, which made headlines due to rumors of infidelity, domestic violence, drug use, etc.
