At It Again: Azealia Banks Disses Rihanna’s Work Video

February 23, 2016

When things get a bit quiet in the celebrity kingdom, we all know we can at least count on rapper and all-around troublemaker Azealia Banks to start yet another feud.

Her latest beef seems to be with RNB superstar Rihanna, whose new “Work” video not to the 25-year-old rapper’s liking.

During yet another one of her Twitter rants, Banks compared Riri’s latest music video to one of Queen Bey’s most noted videos, alas, not in a good way.

“Work video reminds me of Baby Boy video with Sean Paul except not as fly,” the lyricist wrote, referring to Beyonce’s huge 2002 hit. But that’s not all, folks!

After taking a light jab at Rihanna, Banks proceeded to throw shade at the whole music industry. The rapper posted a photo of an unimpressed-looking woman smoking, which she captioned with “Me watching the mediocrity that is the music industry 2016.”

In the continuations of her latest Twitter rant, Banks further explained why she is so unimpressed. “Music is honestly so f**king trash and boring. Let’s start a f**king beef and make s**t interesting. All these f**king pill popping divas doing the LEAST and the s**t is boring. Get these hoes a coffee and a pair of boxing gloves.” The hip hop diva finished her thought-rant with a plead to “bring out the real artists.”

The written jab at the Barbados babe was deleted in the meantime, thanks to which Riri joined the substantial list of artists who got criticized by Banks, including Eminem, Lady Gaga, Iggy Azalea, and Nicki Minaj.
