Ashton Kutcher Is Changing The Law

April 22, 2015

A public complaint Kutcher made last month regarding diaper changing tables in public restrooms caught the attention of a New York State senator Brad Hoylman, who could push the bill in New York, various reports claim.

Kutcher wants to see diaper changing tables in men’s restrooms, not just in women’s, so “men could pick up the slack in raising [their] kids, and this is part of that responsibility”, the 37-year-old actor wrote on Facebook.

“There are NEVER diaper changing stations in men’s public restrooms,” the new dad noticed last month. Kutcher’s initiative inspired New York State Senator Brad Hoylman to sponsor a bill “that would require both women’s and men’s public restrooms to have diaper changing stations”.

“Check it out!!! Our effort is working. A Bill in NY to require universal changing tables. We can make a difference. ‪#‎BeTheChange‬,” Kutcher wrote on Facebook following a statement by Brad Hoylman, which read, “I’m in a good position to try to make a difference.”
