Year 2016 is off to a pretty lousy start. David Bowie left us, Alan Rickman passed away, while Lemmy Kilmister also departed a few weeks back, and anyone who uses social networks on a daily basis knows how much of a stir their deaths caused and how many tributes these late gentlemen got from both fellow celebrities and ordinary people.
However, every once in a while a famous person dies and nobody seems to care. It might be because their work simply wasn’t any good, or because they lived their final years in seclusion, away from the prying eye of the public.
Here we have 8 celebrities who passed away and almost nobody noticed, even though all of them managed to leave a big hole in our hearts. This is our small tribute to them. Better late than never.
1. Gregory Hines
He was most famous for his roles in movies like The Cotton Club (1984), Running Scared (1986), Renaissance Man (1994), History of the World: Part I (1981), but he also stared in TV shows like Little Bill, Will & Grace, and The Gregory Hines Show.
The man loved to dance. He even once said that everything in his professional life was influenced by dancing. Hines loved life, and we loved him just the same.
