So, if it was accepted as good, why is it so bad? Although some critics gave her thumbs up for her unique vocal style, the content of her music was otherwise criticized for being too generically bubble-gum.
It just merged with other undistinguishable albums at the time and it seemed only as LiLo’s effort on capitalizing her popularity.
At the end of the day, at least she didn’t embarrass herself with her music as she did with her life later on.
