1. Jennifer Lawrence
Whether she’s tripping at the Academy Awards ceremony or telling Dave Letterman about her digestive issues, there’s just something mesmerizing about this girl. Despite the fact that her career is really catching fire (pardon the pun), she gives off a low-key vibe that makes you wish she was your best friend. “J-Law” always says whatever’s on her mind and we’re all happy to hear it.
2. Jimmy Fallon
After the Conan O’Brien debacle a few years ago, there’s a reason NBC chose Jimmy Fallon as Jay Leno’s replacement this time around. Jimmy is the equivalent of vanilla ice cream, but in a good way. You know what you’re getting and he’s sure to appeal to the masses. When it comes to hosting a late-night talk show, that’s exactly what the network execs are looking for.
3. Justin Timberlake
He sings, dances, acts… “JT” is a true triple threat. Seriously, is there anything this guy can’t do? We should be jealous, but mostly we’re just in awe of his talent. This former boy-band member has really reached superstar status.
4. Melissa McCarthy
Melissa just might be the funniest woman on the planet. When she’s the star of a television program or movie, she truly shines. When she’s in a supporting role, she always steals the show. Everyone loves a good laugh and that means everyone loves Melissa McCarthy.
5. Sandra Bullock
Not to be outdone by her costar, Sandra Bullock stood her own alongside McCarthy in the comedy hit “The Heat.” She’s also generating Oscar buzz for her role in “Gravity.” Yet, she retains that “girl-next-door” charm that everyone has come to expect from her. She’s earned Hollywood’s respect with her class and character throughout the course of her career.
6. Regis Philbin
Since his retirement from “Live! with Regis and Kelly,” you may not have seen Regis as much lately. Perhaps absence truly makes the heart grow fonder, because whenever he makes an appearance, everyone seems to take notice. “Reg” is an all-around likable guy that we’ve grown to love as we’ve watched him over the years.
7. Dolly Parton
Her tiny frame (at least the bottom half), cute accent and sweet smile help her live up to her name. She truly is a doll! She has a great sense of humor and her own theme park. What’s not to like? Have you seriously ever met anyone that didn’t like Dolly Parton?
With her velvety voice and her outspoken nature, Adele is a force to be reckoned with. Sure, she likes her privacy, but it only adds to her mystique. In fact, her desire to stay out of the public eye may make us love her even more. Anyone that tells you he or she doesn’t like Adele is probably lying.
9. Bryan Cranston
This guy’s had a banner year with the fantastic final season of “Breaking Bad.” It’s unlikely that the show would have been as big of a hit without Cranston as the main character. Still, who could forget his role as the lovable Hal on “Malcolm in the Middle”?
His versatility as an actor makes us love him whether he’s playing a meth-making killer with little morality or a bumbling buffoon who serves as the picture of innocence.
10. Kate Middleton
She’s not a Hollywood celeb, but she might as well be. The Duchess of Cambridge is the rock star of royals. Whether she’s giving birth to an heir or just making a public appearance, we all want to know about it. Even though she’s royalty, she’s carrying on Diana’s legacy as the “people’s princess.”
